Hyundai to collaborate with the University of Oxford

Seoul University, Georgia Tech, University of London, and the University College London are now being joined by the University of Oxford in what is a growing list of schools all collaborating with Hyundai.
The Hyundai Motor Group and the University of Oxford have opened a new Oxford-Hyundai Motor Group Foresight Centre. Based at the Said Business School, the Foresight Centre will explore Hyundai's long-term vision and strategic direction and strengthen its ability to proactively shape the future and identify critical focus points to address future geopolitical shifts and risks in advance.
Hyundai states the centre will conduct innovative research to advance progress for humanity and facilitate interdisciplinary conversations between government agencies, academia and industry experts to develop long-term insights into future societal trends.
The Foresight Centre will be directed by Professor Rafael Ramirez, widely respected for his expertise in future scenario planning, and co-directed by Titular Associate Professor Trudi Lang, who also brings extensive knowledge and experience in strategic foresight. It is additionally set to engage with the Hyundai Group's open innovation network across key locations, including the U.S.A, China, India, Germany, and even Singapore.
