Nissan gives the Z the Safari treatment for SEMA 2023

Remember this Nissan Juke Rally Hybrid tribute car? Nissan is now following up on the Juke with a new concept car, also paying homage to the Datsun 240Z rally car that won the 1971 East African Safari Rally.
Based on the new Nissan Z, the Safari Rally Z Tribute built by Tommy Pike Customs will be on display at SEMA 2023 alongside a replica Datsun 240Z Safari rally car.
The Safari Rally Z Tribute comes with modifications that allow it to take on adventures beyond the pavement including a custom KW Safari suspension and NISMO suspension parts that raise its ride height by 51mm. These grip 17-inch prototype NISMO Safari wheels wrapped in dirt-ready Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tyres.
The Safari Rally Z Tribute also comes with an added front bumper guard and skid plate, to protect its vital powertrain and chassis components, while a host of NISMO off-road LED lights will deliver the necessary illumination for driving in dusty conditions or at night. The car also gets a custom roll bar and custom-trimmed Recaro Pole Position seats with four-point harnesses.
Powering the Nissan Safari Rally Z Tribute is an VR30DDTT engine said to deliver more than 400bhp. This engine also gets a NISMO Track cat-back exhaust system, a cold air intake, as well as a coolant expansion tank, heat exchanger, and a street twin-disc clutch and flywheel.
Should Nissan build a Safari Z in the same vein as the Porsche 911 Dakar and the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato?
