I upgraded my WISH stock speakers to Helix components, added a Helix B4 amplifier and soundproofed the two front doors at Autoimage. After the revamp, the audio quality improved a lot and I am pretty pleased with the money spent. The quality workmanship and service offered by Autoimage were the key factors for drawing me back to this workshop again. I would recommend those who wish to upgrade their I.C.E to visit this workshop. As for ratings, I give them 5 stars for workmanship and 4 stars for price.

Bought a simple Pioneer headunit, but was left a little unsatisfied with the audio quality. It was actually worse than the one it replaced. It was not Autoimage's fault however, cos the existing amplifier wasn't compatible and I was unwilling to get a new amplifier. And because the headunit was a gift to someone, I had a budget to stick to. Autoimage really went out of their way to make sure I didn't leave unsatisfied. They put in tweeters for FREE, and even did some tuning - all for free. In their words, "we cannot let our customers leave feeling like they didn't get a good deal." I was very impressed by the level of service. It was personal and very thoughtful. Autoimage's service went beyond just saying hello or smiling widely. They tried to understand my needs and situation, and they went out of their way to make sure I left satisfied. Which is why i feel I owe them a good review here. I don't know whether Autoimage has the lowest prices , but I know for sure that their service is the best - especially in an industry where "chopping" amateur or ignorant customers (like me) is prevalent. I will go back again. That's for sure.

I went to Autoimage to replace my headunit from single to a double dim. Initially i installed Pioneer P3250 but prefer to have a bigger screen and changed to P4250 with a reasonable top-up. The workmanship is excellent and on top of that Ted has been very accomodative. I chose Autoimage due to its good ratings and indeed the result is very good. Highly recommended

After reading so many good reviews over here, I have decided to check them out last week. Mr Simon was very helpful & kept sharing with me some useful tips on car sound system. I wanted to purchase a Philip double din but was recommended to purchase a Pioneer instead. I'm pleased with the HU & the sound was awesome. I will be back to soundproof my car door soon:) 1 Excellent service 2 Experience in ICE 3 Good & Neat workmanship 4 Parking redeem thru them 5 Price is slightly higher compare to some ICE shop but its worth the extra few dollars. 6 No hard selling from the people there Cheers

Wanted to get a Sony DVD head unit but was recommended a Pioneer for my Honda. I was so glad I listened to them! They did a great job wiring up and the head unit was paired with an awesome set of speakers... dont even need a subwoofer on this baby! Excellent service and recommendation by Ted and Simon. Promised good after sales service which I intend to take up when i get front cams for my car ;) Only complaint was from my wife who thinks that I spent too much time in my car just cruising and listening on my awesome new ICE ...whahhaa!!! >8D

I did my soundproof for my new City today. Been to their shop last week to ask about soundproofing and the price, was attended by Simon, friendly and very knowledgeable on ICE. Decided to go ahead with the soundproof at Autoimage after visiting few other ICE shop. Was there about 10am to do up my car roof, bonnet, 4 doors, fender, install speaker(my old car speaker - advise from Simon that it is a good speaker and use for my new car) and horn, work completed at about 3pm. Ted (the boss) personally check on the installation standard and drove my car out from the workshop and did another round of checks on installation and cleanliness before handover the car to me. Simon was very meticulous and professional on the installation processes. Ted was very friendly and give you the very best customer service and professional. Highly Recommended ICE workshop.

They are very good and professional, and no hard selling at all. Very good after sales service and friendly. After installing my new amp and speakers, I found that my radio reception seems poor and fate a month and I went there again. Instead of trying to sell me radio signal booster like other shops, he just adjusted my amp. It's because the radio freq range is lower than my speakers. ;) Very good service, tested with drive around and tries to explain and don't recommend me to buy anything, just do some adjusting. I would highly recommend!

I am very happy with the professionlism and service of Autoimage. Here my acount of my experience: A few days ago, I went to a shop telling them i only wish to get few speakers and to get good enough sound. They recommended me 2 sets of speakers, and after comparing a few places, their price is lower by a little and it's near my place. After installing 2 sets of speakers that cost me more than a thousand, I was disappointed that I didn't get the sound I wanted for that amount of money I paid. I went to Ted and immediately in lay man terms, he took the time to explain what's wrong with my setup, how this thing works and how to salvage this(like a crash course on sound engineering). Then came the horrifying part when the doors cover are opened, I saw rain water on my new speakers (due to the downpour few hours ago), 3 or 4 types of the lousy cables used, crossover place at the door which subject it to vibration when it's closed, and black tape all over the place (not to mention tweeters all are at wrong suggested positions) . On top of that, the previous installer even break one of my door cover and glued it back with blue-tag like material. After Ted's teams makeover, the sound system in my car has really so different now. And I can see the installation (the cables, crossover,...) is so much more professional, not like a patch job.

Went down to get my wish done up. There were 3-4 workers attending to my car due to lesser crowd because of the heavy rain. Ted was very specific explaining the option available for me to do up my car audio system. Finally settle for a pioneer headunit, a pair of helix speakers system bundle with soundguard sound proofing. Overall, was glad that I didnt have to install an amp after recommendation from Simon. The team was very dedicated and makes the installation process pleasant. Cheers !

Bought a 2nd hand speaker and install additional door gasket for sound proofing. Unfortunately the rubber gasket came off less then a week. Went back to Ted and he found out the surface is not cleaned the properly and so he ask all his workers to gather around and brief them on the proper procedure and replace all the rubber for me. Very professional and good service. Definately will be going back in future. Price wise not the cheapest but reasonable. Highly recommended.

Been to their shop yesterday, my initial intention is to see see look look and then go off to another location. I know nothing much about car entertainment system but learn a few valuable things from Ted. Get to make a few friends while looking around and then decided to get a 2nd hand car system and new speakers. Was also given good advice from Ted and the same day 2 other customers also benefit and left happily after their car is toned up. Overall place is clean and neat, staffs are knowlegeable and very professional. Time taken is a bit lengthy but worth it after sitting into the car. No refreshment which is a down side but there is a coffee shop nearby. (at least a packet drink) No pushy sales and good advice given by Ted. Will definitely go back again to get an amp, overhead LCD display and 2nd row speakers.

1st of all, I hardly write feedback. So, I will keep it short. My 1st exprience with this shop. Bought and installed a used headunit from Ted. Found radio reception to be very weak. Trouble shooted and thought antenna was the problem. Spend $xx to install new antenna but problem persisted. Was very dissapointed & unhappy. Went back to him, he suggested to replace headunit, took back antenna & refunded. I only had to top up difference for new unit which I thought was fair. May not be the cheapest but its not tat expensive either. For average pricing, the Service is Excellent, i will give 10 stars if i could for after sales service. will definately recommend this shop. I think their moto is fix the problem & ensure happy customers. 2 thumbs up.

I went to redo my soundproofing on 8 May 2010 after an accident, but when boss Ted opened my panel, realized how bad the workmanship of the previous workshop is, whereby the soundproofing material is of poor quality, the speakers were not fixed properly and had to be replaced after I realized the speaker cracked, wire from battery not sleeved etc. Ted was very patient in explaining the problems of my current Soundstream ICE setup, and suggested how to rectify it, so fixed it. The difference in sound quality after doing up at AUTOIMAGE is like heaven and hell, and at a very reasonable price! I thought like in other shops, they will later push other stuff like upgrading amp, woofer or head unit, but no, they focus on fixing your problems and not to just close sales. I will definately go back to AUTOIMAGE if I want to upgrade my ICE somemore, following this experience, I believe that in terms of service, knowledge, workmanship and overall value for money, AUTOIMAGE at Amtech Building will really be my one and only choice in future. To all others, don't be fooled like me earlier going to some big and "QUIET" workshops who like to take out fullpage ads in magazines like Hotstuff or Wheels, but in reality pushy and carrot you with farked up workmanship. AUTOIMAGE is a better priced, excellent workmanship and 100% better service workshop. I will not hesitate to recommend AUTOIMAGE to all my friends in various forums.
