Had always been doing my route car servicing there since I was recommended by friends. 2 days ago I went there again to do my regular servicing. The customer service officer I encountered was very impatient and did not bother listening to some of the problems associated with my car as I was trying to explain, Instead, he claimed that their multi-point checks could pick up the problems, if any. After the inspection, their checklist indicated that everything was fine. I was very doubt as I knew something was not right about the car. I confronted the people there, but they were very defensive and of no help at all. Not wanting to argue further, I eventually drove to another servicing shop, Autobacs to carry out another check again. Guess what? The technicians discovered that the car tires were not in good shape, groove line are either wore substantially, or almost gone at some areas. The timing belt had incurred significant stress fatigue. Parts of the suspension system components linked to the 4 wheels are also damaged! The technical took me to the servicing pit to show me all the problems they identified. I eventually replaced all the parts they recommend for change. Spent $2.4K in all. After this experience, I will never return again and definitely will not recommend to any of my friends. Safety is my prime concern in driving a car and this sort of service standard is certainly not acceptable!

Sold & purchased a used car from dealer recently and requested to take it to Khang's for evaluation test. Satisfied with the honest non-bias results directly from them and my dealer rectified all faults for me. Did servicing and was prompt and reasonably priced @ $100. Unlike other workshops i have been before, they did not ask me to change any parts unnecessarily. Thumbs up!

I just did a gearbox overhaul with them for my Citroen C4. I am quite pleased with the result of the overhaul. It took about a week to return the car to me. I just returned from a drive to Melaka and back. All previous problems with the gearbox are gone. Gear change is smooth. Good workmanship. I would also like to commend David from the quotation team who has been in constant liaising with me and being very patient with my enquiries. Kudos to him. The only reason why it is not a 5-star is because of the attitude and effort of the CSO - L*h. Both times I sent my car in (First time for assessment & second time for overhaul), I was assigned to him. He needs to be more customer-centric and be more patient to provide the assistance. CSOs are the first line service staff. It really mars my experience with them. Otherwise, I am satisfied with them.

I used to enjoy going down to Khang motor to service my car due to their friendly staff and nice waiting lounge. What I encountered today gave me another view of their "friendly/professional" staffs... I sent my vehicle for engine noise check today morning...waited 5 hrs and they said my car no problem!? When I drove off the Sin Ming workshop...I can feel the engine noise was louder than before! Return immediately and ask their CSO/Kelxxx (customer service officer?) to check again. He called his "supervisor" for advice...but no supervisor came to my aide except the same mechanic. CSO explain that the louder noise was due to air filter thickness issue and ask me to come back next week. HELLO! noise worsen afterthey handle my car and he blame on the air filter quality? FYI, I am an engineer...not market auntie ok! I approach their In-charge (seems like top management)...he reluctantly grab another Senior CSO and asked him to attend me and hurried off (Saying:"customer complain liao, pls handle...I gotto go"). What the?! The Senior CSO got hold of the same mechanic to work on my vehicle and disappeared in minutes, the initial CSO cannot be found, Senior management guy gone. I was alone with my troubled vehicle....I felt so abandoned! Finally, the same mechanic came over after handling some other car and managed to resume my engine noise back to "normal" noise level (before Khang motor). Conclusion: Khang's motor staff may appear to be friendly, professional and willing to listen to your problems (Those CSO who wore Pants with whiteTWM polo-shirts tucked in). But once a real problem arise, they all start to shun you!!! Yeah, my vehicle is under TWM warranty...the service I am getting? Not worth it... However, I will give a thumbs up for the mechanic...who is helpful throughout my ordeal.

I signed up with khang auto's warranty scheme for my second hand car (the warranty cost about $1400) because I thought the coverage and convenience they offered were good . They claimed that you can service your car in any of the authorized workshop (pls see below link) http://www.warranty.com.sg/faq.aspx#5 However things were not as I expected. I had two bad encounters 1. My aircon had some problem I went to comfort delgro in pandan since it was near my place and also it is an authorized workshop under the Warren scheme. Comfort delgro inspected my car and called Khang auto boss Mr Ong to authorize the repair and to my dismay I was told by Mr Ong that I need to send my car at Khang workshop which is in Sin Ming. However another shock awaits me! I went back to the workshop THREE times before they finally fixed my aircon! (from 22 Jul to 8 Aug) 2. I had some problem with my power steering pump and sent it straight to Khang auto to fix it. But after a week the pump start leaking again, I gave up on Khang and went to another workshop to have my pump fixed and it is now trouble free So to sum up from my experience if you have expensive repairs you will be asked to go back to Khang auto to do your repairs and the standard of repairs is not good.

Despite all the positive responses i see from the other reviews, my experience with them is a bad one. My car had auto transmission problems and was promptly brought to khang auto due to their "good reputation". I had a peace of mind knowing my car was being repaired by a good workshop. Cut long story short, my car was in Khang Auto for 2weeks and finally returned as "repaired"!. I was charged for my repairs and within 30mins of driving, the exact same problem occured! Did they even do anything!!?? My car had to be towed back. Upon bringing it back to them, they said will do a full check? Hello, i brought to u the car with that exact same problem, wasnt it checked the 1st time? What did you guys even do? I told them I need my car for work and so was given a timeline of 1 week or so for repairs. And today, another 2 weeks i called the guy who was very reluctant to talk to me told me have to be another week probably as waiting for parts! My car is now there for 1 full month and counting. Khang Auto, I am deeply dissapointed in your poor service and attitude of your mechanic. Once my car is repair(god knows when), I will never return and ensure that friend's I know never engage in your services!!

Went 4 servicing before Christmas and was impressed by the good and fast service provided by them. They recommend me to change 3 parts (brake pad, spark plug and battery). I was advised by them to come back for the engine restoration programme which removes dirt in e engine. What I can say that they are honest, efficient, reasonable pricing. Very good customer service! I think I will carry on future servicing with them..

I did an auto transmission flush and oil change. Good service overall. They even fixed my rattling rear door for free.

i regretted going other workshop. Khang so far is still the best. Pricing is 1 of the best.

Khangs automatic website are really useful ,From their website i learned a lots of do and dont's. so i decide to get down and let them overhual my engine as well as my Suspension. They look professional and indeed they are. ROcKz
