Ted (Boss) take the extra effort to drive my car down to Alpine agent to check on a problematic Bluetooth problem after numerous investigation by his technician. Turn out to be a faulty unit. He make the arrangement to replace it on the spot. Kudos to him. These extra effort are the little things that make a happy customer returning. - Raymond Loke

My first review, but bear with me as I feel the need to share this:

Came here to experience what I saw from the rave reviews online, and left a very happy man albeit with a lighter wallet.

Straightaway after I've gotten my new car - Honda Jade RS, I headed straight down to Autoimage. Actually I have already made 2 separate trips beforehand to enquire about the products, before settling for a Pioneer HU 8850BT, Rainbow speakers (SL compo & EL coaxial) and Dream 4 amplifier on the actual day of installation itself. Ah Hua, who attended to me for each of the visits, had actually postponed his leave to make sure what was discussed earlier is being put into action. So kudos to him for that exceptional level of customer service.

The actual day of installation, which I sat through for the entire duration of the "Performance", was an eye opener as these guys put in a lot of work to get the system up and running. Everything was smooth and without any hiccup as they are so well-versed in their art. Even had plenty of time to talk cock sing song with these bunch of friendly guys.

As I stayed on till past their closing time and was the last customer to leave, even had the opportunity to chat with boss Ted and his colourful stories.

Anyway I will be going back again for further fine-tuning at their request and also to set up some cabling for apple carplay and mirroring. It will be another pleasant visit, I am very sure of that.

So for all you people who are reading this, please do give them a visit and judge for yourself the level of service from start to finish.

I don't usually write reviews or make recommendations. But for TED and his associates... I feel compelled to write and share with my bros!

I stay in the west side... And made a bad decision and went to a nearby auto shop to get my ICE fixed for my new Elantra. After spending hundreds of dollars, I was very disappointed with the quality of the outcome... The music felt very weak and hollow.

Fortunately, after some research and a leap of faith I went to see a wizard named TED at AutoImage. These guys literally fixed my problem!
They took my problematic ICE setup and suggest a cost-effective solution. He didn't try to rip me off but instead took my mismatched speakers and I just needed to top up a bit to make a great setup!

Apparently, my headunit is not strong enough to drive the speakers which I was told to buy from the other vendor (kena rip off)... Ted fixed it by matching the speakers, added a sub and finally he used his acoustic engineering background to tune the audio swee-swee!!

Super happy with these guys!! Will definitely come back to consult him when it come to audio and electronic stuff. :D

Went to AutoImage to upgrade the speakers on my Vezel. Staff were friendly and not pushy. While I was there, I asked for some time to google the speakers that they have recommended, to which they kindly obliged. Their quoted prices are all nett, including the prices of cables and workmanship. Prices were very competitive when I compared them online. Hence, I decided to go ahead with the installation.

Workmanship was impressive. They even used soundproofing materials to surround the speaker brackets during installation. However, I did have a slight quibble during my installation process. My windshield solar film was accidentally scratched when the tweeters were installed. The staff was honest and pointed out the scratch to me. After the installation was done, I approached the boss (Ted) on the scratch. Without hesitation, Ted assured me that he will replace the entire solar film for me. That night, Ted texted me that he had arranged an appointment at a well known solar film installer to replace my solar film. I am impressed by such honesty and willingness to remedy the damage.

Follow up service was also good. After I drove off there was a knocking sound inside my driver's door when I close the door. The staff quickly found out that it was the auto folding mirror module (installed by my PI) that had come loose and helped to secure it.

I have since went back to AutoImage again to install subwoofers. Enjoying every minute spent in the car now. Really glad to have chosen AutoImage. They are a company that can be trusted.

The Head unit in my Estima went dead on Saturday so I made an impromptu visit to Auto image. Despite my un-scheduled visit, Vincent is able to accommodate my request and had a new HU for my car done within an hour.

Then 2 days later, I met with some flickering issue on the HU screen and call up Ted. No question asked, I drive down and had a brand new HU swapped in. Impressive.... My go-to shop from now on.

Went to change my reverse camera as my existing one is giving me problem. Again Ted was very patient to explain the types of reverse camera he carry. After installation, again he patiently explain to me how to judge the distance when using the reverse camera. It was really an excellent customer service. Thank you Ted.

Just collected my car a few days ago, so send it down to add solar film for treatment.
While waiting, I dropped by autoimage to browse, just next door, as I was not happy with my preinstalled speakers.
Just felt irritated by the harshness of the high ends and a unbelievable bloated bass. Mids were so so.
Was met by Ted as I was looking at the huge collection of speakers.

Told him I was just browsing and not intending to purchase anything yet, but! I was wrong.

Ended up installing Boston Acoustics SL60 speakers (max size for my car), Rainbow Beat 4 amp, all on the same day.

Now enjoying every moment in my car while driving. Beautiful crisp clear highs, mellow and smooth mids and bass was 'solid' but not over powering. Still has potential to improve, over the run in period.

Now thinking 'how would a sub woofer improve my music' lol

This shop is very good for after sale service.
The boss are very friendly. All the staff are very good experience and done a good job for my car audio system installation. I'm very happy. I will recommend this shop to my friends.

Brought my used car & Have this boss Ted attended to me 2 years ago.
His knowledge & Service is by far the best .... For those guys who have their audio system installed at his place will understand what I mean.
Recently my right speaker got no sound. I went back to him. I told him my system was installed by him2 years ago. Without any hesitation, he quickly get his tech to check. After checking, they found the problem & Quickly rectified it. It took 15 mins. I asked what is the cost & He is smiled & Said no cost. This is what I called after sales service excellence!! Kudos to Mr Ted !

Came here to purchase a new HU as my current one was faulty. Ted recommended me a suitable model and patiently explained the features and benefits as well. His staff also ensured that the installation was done properly and neatly and also took the time to brief me on all the various functions. Excellent customer service and highly recommended for all your audio needs!

I hardly write reviews but Ted and his team at AutoImage really stood out from the crowd to provide such excellent service.

Even though his pricing may be higher than those neighbourhood-type of car audio shop, their service is tip-top. You really pay for what you get. All wiring and connections are done properly and hidden nicely. Although, this can't be said for other famous audio shops who only care about charging high.

Besides their technical excellence, Ted will not hesitate to impart his vast knowledge to newbies with great patience.

Kudos to the team!

Upon a fellow mycarforum member's recommendation, I went down to have a look at the place as its near where I am staying. When I was there, I saw a lot of people waiting for their turn to do up their car for something. I though it will not be possible to change my head unit. However, Simon who serve me was very patient with me as I was a newbie in audio systems, ask I ask him a whole lot of questions and was able to answer all the questions I asked and answer very professionally.

I think it was whole every time I waited over there as I am able to see that they have a wide range of audio equipment and plus many other stuff and the boss Ted is a very nice person as I can see that he was busy but still have the time to ask me if his guys went through with me how to operate the head unit. Also there was something else that was very unexpected of him as he help me do some errands even though it is not his responsibility. Thank you Ted for your help, really appreciate for your help. I will definitely recommend my friends whom want to change their audio or other things.
