Rented a vehicle with hertz at changi airport last week, the staff was very friendly and attentive to my enquiries. She went to the vehicle to make sure the vehicle is in a good condition before i go off from the airport carpark. Appreciated her good service. Really pathetic service. I booked an online request, was told that Hertz needed time to confirm the booking a few days back but have yet to hear anything from the team. I called the office up several times and there isn't anyone picking up. Really disappointing service as I wanted a car for my dad who's going to be driving on the weekends in Singapore. Wouldn't consider this ever again. Strongly discourage you from going for this service with them. - Luqman Hakim

I have rented a car from Hertz for two years. When my lease is almost up, had an accident while exiting my carpark. A Mercedes taxi was stuck at gantry and reversed unexpectedly and hit my rented car.
As instructed by the Hertz Operations team, I followed their instructions. Offered my in car cam footage to them, but was told not necessary as it was clearly the taxi fault.
However, days later was informed that taxi claimed against me and I lost the case as no video evidence was submitted.. And I am faulted for the bad advise given by Hertz.

To make matters worst, I was told to pay up the following:-

Replace 1pc front bumper $560.00
Replace 1pc front bumper beam $260.00

Labour:
Knocking front bumper panel.
Support panel, repair attachments
replace above, transfer and
realigning same $350.00

spray painting same $350.00

TOTAL: $1520.00

A total of $1520, for a minor dent. Refer to photo..

This is totally insane and an act of day light robbery!! I really cannot understand the cost mark up. And I have to bear the consequences of their bad judgement.
