LEXUS UX
Sculpted lines, sharp angular details and a low-to-the-ground stance. These may seem like a fitting description for a sports car, but is in fact how we'd describe the new Lexus UX.

Open the doors, and you will be greeted by soft leathers, stylish buttons and quality materials on par with much costlier cars. With its supple, soft-riding suspension and low ride height, the UX also drives much more like a hatchback than a crossover. With its high build quality and reasonable price, the UX is something of a bargain in this segment.

In the extremely saturated segment of compact crossover SUV, the Lexus UX stands out from the rest with its bold design that incorporates a slew of angular details and sculpted lines.

Looking straight on at the UX, the first thing you notice is Lexus' iconic spindle grille that adorns its entire lineup. The next thing you realise, is the UX's similarities to a sports coupe. It features sharp, sculpted lines and a low-to-the-ground stance, maximising visual appeal. Head on to the rear and you'll be entranced by its eye-catching taillight that's made up of 120 LEDs.

Take a gander inside and you'll be greeted by soft leathers, stylish buttons and high levels of quality in material and build. Don't be mistaken, the UX is no Rolls-Royce, the interior still features some hard plastics. However, it sure has a luxurious and comfortable cabin that you'll enjoy and is still a notch above the rest of the cars in its class.

Thanks to its supple and soft-riding suspension, the theme of luxurious comfort is evident even on less than even roads. Coupled with a smooth and creamy powertrain consisting of a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine that puts out 168bhp and 205Nm of torque, and a smooth CVT gearbox, the UX truly excels in delivering a comfortable ride.

The UX is also equipped with extensive safety features such as the Pre-Collision System and Lane Keep Assist, providing a safe and enjoyable drive. While the UX impresses with its top-notch noise insulation and cabin refinement, the cherry on top is its excellent price point.
