Since it was first launched back in 2016, the 10th generation Honda Civic has proved to mighty popular in Singapore. Just take a quick glance out onto the road and you're sure to spot one.
In 2019, the Honda Civic underwent a light facelift. Aesthetic upgrades like new chrome trimming and the addition of a shark fin antenna help freshen up the car's exterior.
Where the car has been notably improved is inside the cabin, especially with the infotainment system. Honda has thankfully fitted the Civic with physical controls to adjust the volume and air-con fan speed. These were previously done using the touchscreen, and the new physical controls allow much more simple yet accurate operation.
Elsewhere, Honda has updated some software, as well as changed some materials on the steering wheel and dashboard trim panel.
What hasn't changed, though, is the way the Civic drives. The turbocharged 1.5-litre powerplant provides plenty of straight line pace, but it is the car's engaging dynamics and assured handling that has always been its strongest suit.
Fundamentally, the Honda Civic hasn't changed in this facelift. It continues to deliver exactly what buyers are looking for – a highly practical and sensible family sedan with strong badge recognition and respect.
Being the 2019 Top Viewed Model in 2019 further cements the Civic's strong reputation, and continues to highlight its popularity in its segment, and in Singapore.
