Three award-winning acts to perform at Zone 1 of 2014 Singapore GP

Three award-winning performers have been announced by race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd as the lineup for the Village Stage in Zone 1 of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Kicking off the weekend is U.K.'s most successful music duo and three-time Brit Award winner Pet Shop Boys, who are slated to enthral audiences before the start of the Formula One qualifying session on Saturday, 20 September.

33 years after Pet Shop Boys were formed, the synth-pop pioneers still continue to push the envelope and with their Electric Tour, fans can expect an energetic set complete with mesmerising video projections, elaborate costumes and a slew of electronic dance hits at their performance at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Entry to Pet Shop Boys' performance at the Village Stage is included with any three-day 2014 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix Zone 1 ticket.

Six-time Grammy winner and Emmy winner Ziggy Marley will also perform in Zones 1 and 4 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit this September.

Born David Nesta Marley, the eldest son of the legendary Bob Marley will perform after the on-track action at the Village Stage on Saturday, 20 September and before the Formula One race on Sunday, 21 September at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre Stage.

Entry to Ziggy Marley's Saturday performance is included with any three-day 2014 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix Zone 1 ticket. Sunday's performance at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre Stage is accessible to all three-day ticketholders, Sunday single-day Pit Grandstand special ticket holders and the Sunday Zone 4 Walkabout ticket holders.

Nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will then bring his blend of R&B and soul to the Formula One night race on Sunday, 21 September. The velvety voice behind the 2014 instant classic 'All Of Me' dedicated to his wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen - will serenade fans over at the Village Stage in Zone 1.

Fans can catch John Legend's intimate and acoustic pre-race performance with any three-day 2014 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix Zone 1 ticket or Sunday single-day Pit Grandstand special ticket.

Singapore GP will be adding more artistes to the entertainment grid in the coming weeks. Artiste lineup, performance dates and stage venues are subject to change.
