Hyundai has revealed a design concept sketch of its upcoming all-electric Ioniq 6. The Ioniq 6 will be the second model in to be launched under Hyundai's new all-electric sub-brand when it comes to market.
The revealed concept sketch shows the car will offer a streamlined and curved silhouette, just as was first previewed on the Prophecy Concept, revealed in 2020. Hyundai states that the Ioniq 6 will sport simple lines and a purely aerodynamic form, catering to both the aesthetic and functional needs of customers.
The Ioniq 6 will also be based upon the firm's Electric Global Modular Platform, which provides a stretched wheelbase and an optimised interior layout. More pertinent perhaps, is the fact that this means a 577bhp performance-oriented variant of the Ioniq 6 could well be on the cards, built to match the performance of the Kia EV6 GT.
Hyundai states that it will release more teaser images of the Ioniq 6 in the following days, all via its official media channels as well as it dedicated Ioniq 6 campaign page here. The full exterior and interior designs of the car will be unveiled later this month.
