Dubai Police bring the successful TUNE IT! SAFE! concept to the bustling city

Conducted under the guidance of the German Ministry for Transport, Construction and Urban Development, sponsored by the Association of Automobile Tuners and numerous other partners of the project, Tune It! Safe! aims to promote greater awareness of safety among tuners and to provide important educational advice.
The Dubai Police aims to bring this successful concept to the U.A.E. The launch took place at the Dubai International Motor Show, with the central element a legally and safely tuned police vehicle.
As part of the initiative, renowned tuning outfit, Brabus, will provide the Dubai Police with a B63S - 700 Widestar based on the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG.
The high-performance off-roader with 700bhp symbolises the fact that safe automobile tuning and driving pleasure are closely linked and need to be mutually exclusive.
Under the hood of the 700 Widestar is a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine with 700bhp and 960Nm of torque that enables the all-wheel drive police vehicle to reach a top speed of 240km/h after sprinting to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Furthermore, the Brabus Dynamic Ride Control suspension offers the perfect symbiosis of superior driving comfort and dynamic handling.
Like in Germany, where Tune It! Safe! has established itself as an information platform for all things relating to tuning, sporty automobile accessories and general traffic safety, the initiative aims to raise awareness in Dubai so that safety is not forgotten when it comes to automobile tuning.
