Edo Competition reveals Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution

In creating the Enzo XX Evolution, Edo Competition has increased the size of the standard 6.0 litre V12 engine to 6.3 litres, achieved by installing parts like new camshafts, modified cylinder heads, titanium valve spring retainers and connecting rods, high flow catalytic converters, mufflers and air filters and new high performance exhaust headers.

The transmission has also been modified, and the time taken to shift between gears is now 60 milliseconds, 20 milliseconds faster than a Formula One car. This was done by using lighter drive shafts. Overall weight has also been reduced, with the Enzo XX Evolution losing 100kg from the standard car. Power has also been upped to 840bhp, with the removal of the muffler contributing 20bhp.

This means that the Enzo XX Evolution can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds, hit 200km/h in 9 seconds, and 300km/h in 19 seconds. Top speed is claimed to be in excess of 390km/h, not very far from the 407km/h recorded by the Bugatti Veyron.

On the outside, the modified Enzo gets a new retractable rear wing, new LED taillights and a new rear skirt with winglets. Edo Competition will also throw in a test day with an instructor and full hospitality package for existing owners who choose to convert their prized Enzos.
