Style with substance - the new 308 SW has the capability to enhance expectations

Like the Peugeot 308 hatchback, the new Peugeot 308 SW (stationwagon) has been completely redesigned to provide class-leading levels of competitiveness. Designers from the French firm have styled a capacious and dynamic estate car - measuring 4,580mm in length and 1,470mm in height - for an attractive stance that is sleek yet sporty.

Peugeot claims that its dimensions exceed the expectations and requirements of customers with its ample volume, roominess, versatility and practicality - starting with a load capacity of 610 litres, seats that fold with a single action from inside the boot, and the perfectly flat floor.

Inside, the sleek and modern Peugeot i-Cockpit provides its driver and passengers with a clean and clutter-free interior with new driving sensations. Built with high quality materials, the new 308 SW features a high level of attention to detail, with the specific aim of placing the car among the best.

Like the hatchback, the new Peugeot 308 SW benefits from utilising the 'Efficient Modular Platform' (EMP2), optimising weight savings and providing enhanced dynamic efficiency. The new 308 SW is 140kg lighter than its predecessor and this translates to a greater driving experience. Available at launch, the Euro 6 petrol and diesel engines are joined by a new BlueHDi version that emits just 85g/km of CO₂.

Produced in Sochaux, France, the new Peugeot 308 SW will premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014, and will go on sale across Europe in spring.
