One system, multiple features

The first of those features is 'Live View.' This enables you to monitor your car in real time from anywhere in the world.

Secondly, the 'Two-way voice communication' function that allows you to use the BlackVue App to communicate with drivers through the dash cam's integrated speaker and microphone.

Like the system used by truckers in the United States, users can help each other avoid traffic jams.

'Emergency Alarm' enables you to set up push notifications to be alerted on your smartphone or even your smart watch as soon as certain preset events occur, such as the start of a recording resulting from an impact detected on the car or the disconnection of the dash cam from the Cloud while the car is parked.

'GPS Tracking' adds the ability to visualise your car's location and speed on a map. A little like Google Maps - only better.

With its 'Video Backup' feature, you can also move files from the dash cam's memory to the Cloud storage or their smart phone right from the app - the same way Apple’s iCloud works.

Finally, 'Remote Video Playback' ability means that the videos you previously stored in the Cloud or in the dash cam can be played anytime on your smart phone or tablet.

Can you use it?

BlackVue Over the Cloud works with the DR650GW Series models manufactured after April 2015. As of 11 November 2015, the new BlackVue C (Cloud) app is ready for both iOS and Android OS and Version 2.00 firmware only works with the latest BlackVue C app.

Before you upgrade to the latest firmware version 2.00 (or higher) which supported Cloud, make sure you are able to install the BlackVue C App to your smart phone successfully. You can downgrade the firmware V2.00 back to version 1.009 if needed.
