The first time that I opened this up and out of the box, it's beautiful. All chrome and perfect. It does the job really well but you will have to get hangers for it because it doesn't bring any. The craftsmanship thing doesn't matter anyway because the pipe still looks offical plus it sounds great too. It's going under the car anyway right so i recommend this to anyone who is looking to spice up their exhaust without spending a ton of cash.

What I like
Gives good performance along with nice acoustics.

These aren't easy to find.

Fitted this on my Honda Civic Type R, and definitely am satisfied with what this exhaust has to offer. While idling, it gives a soft, mid-note bass, quietly waiting. While on the move, it is quite loud, having a lower bass. Perfect for those looking for an exhaust that has perfect acoustics for nice-sounding exhaust enthusiasts. Soft enough to not attract the cops, loud enough to give you awesome rides. Performance wise, there are noticeable upgrades in pickup and engine response. In short, this HKS Hi-Power 409 is for those who still want a quiet muffler but want others to know it's not stock. The Hi-Power fits the bill perfectly. Fitment is good and it's rattle free.

What I like
The sound this exhaust produces adds the feel of sports driving with my Civic. The slight performance boost is also quite a treat for me!

What I do not like
The heavy pricetag for this particular exhaust will turn off most acoustic enthusiast if they had never heard how this system sounds.

Review
I wanted an exhaust that sounds good, looks good and gives me a bit of extra performance. This exhaust, even though it cost me a lot, surpassed my expectations. My car feels just a bit more powerful now and the sound...it's amazing. When idling, the sound is a constant deep hum but when I put pedal to metal, the deep roar is loud but not so loud that I'll get caught by the TP. I'm happy with this exhaust overall.
