Capacitor
A capacitor is an electronic component that can take up, store, and discharge electrical energy to draw when required. Audio capacitors are a great addition to your aftermarket audio system as they temporarily cover the short-burst electrical demands of a car audio system that have exceeded the general electrical capabilities of the vehicle. They prevent lights from dimming when loud bass notes play. They accomplish this by supplying the amplifier with a quick jolt of power. When heavy bass notes hit, your battery can lose voltage. Capacitors can stop this from happening. Installing a capacitor in general will help to stabilise the voltage being sent to the amplifier. Other than reduce the strain on the vehicle's electrical system or reduce dimming lights, it can also improve the sound quality of the audio system.
