This rim cleaner works so well. Even on the calipers - brings them up like new too. Even after 7 years people comment on my rims and calipers and cannot belive how immaculate they are. I hand wash at least once per week (myself - best results) and use the rim cleaner maybe once a month or every other month if there is too much build up.

I cannto recommend this product too highly.

PS the Sonax Nanocoat is also a great product - up to 12 months protection.

It works - most others only do a half a....d job

What I do not like
Could be better value for money. Try buying in bulk on eBay

Used the full effect version. Just wet your rims to remove lose dirt, then spray on to the rims and let it settle. It will turn purple after reacting with all the brake dust, even when its caked up. No brushing required, simply just spray water again to clean it.

I have tried many brands of wheel cleaners and I have given up trying cheaper alternatives. I'm on my third bottle already and I would say this is the best. Just spray..let it stay on for about 5 min and drive in to petrol station for a car wash. Rims super shiny after the wash.

This is by far one of the best wheel cleaner. Fresh smell.

Spray on rims, let it bond for about 3 to 5 mins. Then use a sponge to clean off all the dirt. Easily done with no effort. Not require to spray too much as shown in youtube. Use it sparingly.

This comes with a price. Its expensive. Retail at 20 over dollars for a 500ml.

I bought during a promo. A bundle at S$28/-

I will not buy it if its not on promo.

What I like

It's effective in removing the brake dust but there is a cheaper alternative Japanese branded cleaner of the same cleaning effect found in SPC petrol kiosk. It cost just $11+.

One of the most reliable brake dust remover I've ever used!!! It only takes a small amount to clean the rims. And if you have very stubborn stains, just need to spray slightly more and leave it longer to let the chemical eat into it.

What I like
It is strong enough to remove the most stubborn of brake dust on your rims. Leave longer for more stubborn stains.

What I do not like
Need a few more rinse to wash off the chemical. Smell is stronger too due to higher concentration of chemicals. More pricey than most rims cleaner on the market.

Easy to use, just spray cleaner on the rims. Let it rest a short while, and apply water to wash off everything, including the dust/dirt that has accumulated on the rims. Easiest cleaner used so far!

I always own branded japanese rim and am currently on Volkswagen ce28. As an owner of such rim watching it getting brake dust hurt my heart. No matter how much I clean it, car shampoo doesn't seems to do the job. Until I come across this product. Spray before wash and most of the brake dust from your rim will come off.

Finally got around to try this product since i got it a few months back.
And boy are my rims filthy~!
After spraying the cleaner on the rims and the brake discs, and rinsing it off after 5 mins, i can see the cleaner takes up and removes quite a fair bit of crap from my wheels.

The spray nozzle is also very easy on the hands. not like some of the other spray products i got before where your hands are really getting worked out when applying the product. With the Sonax one, i can easily go on for another 2 sets of wheels and not feel tired at all squeezing the trigger to apply the cleaner on the rims.

the discs actually looks cleaner.
and the greasy mud and dirt on the rims actually cleans out much easier than i thought it would compared to my usual soap and water routine.

and through my black painted rims, i can already see a difference in the cleanliness, i can't wait to try it on the silver rims of my FIL car to see them super shine.

definitely a keeper~!

spray a bit before car wash, it will eat off/lose the brake dust off.
after that just use water to rise off.. make cleaning rim so easy as ABC :)

I used to spend more time scrubbing the wheels, wasting so much sponge and cloths. Was amazed with the demo during the meet and delighted to receive a bottle for try out.

This makes cleaning really easy and fast. Just spray a few times on each wheel around the car and then water clean them in the same sequence.

Many car owners with fancy rims with multiple spokes will hate to clean their rims. However Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner Plus is the answer to that. Just spray onto the rim and wait for 5 minutes, brieftly sponge it and rinse with water reveal sparkling rims.

I am absolutely a fan of this product as Rim cleaner is usually the most "unglam" session of the whole car washing process especially with brake dust accumulating fast and furious. Getting rid of them seems like a chore with every car wash.

Surprised at how easy this product works..
