BMW M celebrates 2014 DTM Champion with limited run M4

The BMW M4 has claimed its first DTM title in its debut season in the German touring car race series after BMW Team RMG's Marco Wittmann wrapped up the Drivers' Championship at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Germany, back in September - two races shy before the recently held season finale in Hockenheimring.

To honour his achievement, BMW M has launched the M4 DTM Champion Edition. Limited to just 23 units, reflecting Wittmann's car number, the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition will be offered exclusively in Alpine White.

Other signature features of the special edition include the matte black bonnet and boot lid with a striking stripe design, complemented by the black character line along the car's flanks.

Also included are an M kidney grille with orange surround, an M logo rearwards of the front wheel arches, the number 23 on the doors and the flag along with 'WIT' and 'DTM Champion 2014' lettering on the rear side windows.

In the cabin, carbon interior trim strips - signed by the 24-year old champion - feature 'DTM Champion 2014' lettering and the car's serial number. Further exclusive interior highlights from the M Performance Parts range include the Alcantara steering wheel with a '12 o'clock' marker, Alcantara handbrake lever gaiter, carbon handbrake lever grip and carbon M DCT insert.

The 431bhp rated lump is further enhanced by the M DCT transmission with Drivelogic, M Carbon ceramic brakes and the M Driver's Package.

In addition, the 23 owners of this exclusive model will be invited to take part in a track training course at the Nurburgring under the watchful eye of the new DTM champion.
