I installed this on
Peugeot 308
Review
Has been hunting for the longest time for a DPF friendly motor oil for my Stage 1 tuned turbodiesel 3008. PSA recommends Total Quartz Ineo ECS which is very good but is also very hard to find locally and very expensive. Been using PSA approved Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 0w30 all the while but it makes my diesel engine clatters noticeably. To reduce it, i resorted to mixing it with 1/4 bottle of LiquiMoly Ceratec everytime i changes my oil. Mxtrading's Nicholas has been pushing this oil on a few occasions and i decided to give it a go. Was hesitant initially as the GT1 range product prices are quite low. After 8000km with the GT1 Pro Flex, i found that the engine is very smooth. The usual idling diesel clatter is not audible at all. A check at the dipstick at 6000km shows no change in the oil consumption. Highly recommended!
What I like
Good price, cheaper than Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 0w30. Idles smoothly and quietly. Still flows nicely at 7000km in a notoriously dirty engine.
What I do not like
Country of manufacture not stated, comes in only 5liters or 1 liter packing. Would prefer a 4L packing like other major brands.
