I've installed this along with a Pioneer DEH-X5500HD head unit. The outcome is very impressive. It makes a huge different. I can hear highs and mids in music I love or familiar with that I've never experience and heard before. I replaced factorry tweeters and 6 1/2" midrange in front pillars and doors without any problems. Zip tied passive crossover network boxes in protected area inside door, crossover comes pre-wired and ready to go. With my budget, this is the best component car speaker system and it's well worth the price I paid.

What I like
Great quality that hit all the highs and lows.

What I do not like
There's nothing I can think of but if really have to say one, I think I would say that they can improve on the design.

Review
These Pioneer TS-A1605C had satisfied what I had always wanted - reasonably priced speakers. These speakers were powered by a 1000 watt 2 channel amp. These speakers do not sound bad at all. The only complaint is that the crossover could have been better. At VERY high volumes the crossover causes distortion in the tweeters due to its inability to filter the lower frequencies at the power being distributed. But, the speakers do have a very natural sound when equalized correctly. I cant complain.

What I like
They sound really good when played at average volumes.

What I do not like
Suffers distortions when being played loud.

It looks good and sounds even better. From the pounding bass lows of my house and dubstep music to the highs of trance, it produces every single note crisply, clearly and perfectly. I have never heard my music sound so good before, and now I hope that this speaker set lasts long, because I'm in love with this set.

My stock GTI speakers couldn't handle all the trance, metal, rap, house and electropop I always listen to so I went hunting for new speakers and found these. All I have to say is that these speakers are not the best, but they are still damn good. The high notes are amazing thanks to the good tweeters, and the speakers put out good bass and it actually can handle the bass of my music! Also, this set is loud and very clear. I really dunno why I didn't get them to begin with.
