A no frills DVR which gets the job done. Easy to install and fairly cheap. Videos taken in the day are clear and good . However videos taken at night are mediocre. Car plates cannot be seen as clearly as in the day.

The ease of installation was really something I love. Within minutes, I got my Marbella MX5 up and running. The G-sensor feature is also cool. Wanted to test out the G-sensor; upon reaching my ride, i shook my front trunk, the G-sensor was activated, and the camera started rolling. Well, quite a nice feature to prevent theft whereby thieves break windscreens to obtain items on the dashboard. Quality wise, it was an clear and bright during the day, and acceptably good during the night! Nice piece of device from Marbella!

Battery dies quite fast.

With a quality of 720p, it records clear images during the day. It suffers at night though, with pixels going quite wrong with the colours while recording. This may just be the weakness of this affordable priced in-car camera. Contains really nice features!

The quality it records during the day. Crystal clear images! It is also reasonably priced, or cheap I'd say.

Night time recording is quite a chore, the colour quality suffers. Expected from a cheap device.

This video cam has a resolloution of 720p and I feel that price is good enough as compared to those available in the market. Comes wide angle lens of 160 degree and handy feature such as it will save the files and locked the files automatically even when the memory card is full.

I just got this unit not long ago and I am impressed with the video image quality recorded by Marbella MX5. Although mine MicroSD card only come with 4GB but it can record up to 1 hour plus. The quality is slightly better than some of the HD720P camera I have seen in the market and Marbella MX5 has a very comprehensive function such as G-sensor, night vision, motion detector and etc..which I think it's good enough for first time users like myself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The daytime playback quality is very good and clear, and the night time playback is still clear, but the colour really fails there. The design is good as it's muted and easy to conceal so my car doesn't end up getting broken into just for the camera. The best thing about this cam is that it's cheap.

I picked it up for less than $150 and at that kind of price, it does quite well. The daytime recording quality is very clear. However, the nighttime or low light video quality suffers notably. The colours start to look funny, but at least the video is clear enough to see a license plate directly 2 cars ahead of yours. Comes in a good looking design.
