The factory airbox in BMW’s is a closed unit which has a fixed volumetric capacity. This translates to a limited volume of air that the engine can take in at any point in time. This design becomes especially restrictive in the higher rev range of the engine, when it needs more air to support combustion and power production.

- The intakes are designed to allow the engine to breath freely, liberating top end power
- CNC MAF/ MAP sensor openings and factory specification dimensional tolerances (especially at these sensor locations) will ensure that original factory ECU feedback sensors can be installed back, without throwing any ‘check engine’ light or error codes
- Dyno tested to produce over 12-15 wheel horsepower (whp) even WITHOUT any ecu tuning or any other supporting modifications
- The intake volumetric flow rate far exceeds that of the turbo (which translates to being more that ideal for the maximum power of the engine)
- Perfect for tuned/ uprated power cars as we have tested these intakes on heavily modified and tuned BMW’s overseas, without any problems
- Direct bolt-on to the compressor housing of the turbo, with no fabrication needed
- All original mounting points are re-used

- Incorporated heat shields and snorkels mean that these intakes will take in minimal amounts of hot air from around the engine bay
- Oil-free filters are used, so as not to foul up MAF/MAP sensors downstream
- Low maintenance filters mean that they only require a 20psi air blast to keep clean every 50,000km
