MTX 55 series subwoofers are designed to deliver the most bass of any subwoofers in their class. A new inverted apex surround, increases the surface area while also reducing distortion allowing these subwoofers to generate higher levels of SPL with less distortion. Additionally, the 55 series uses proven Spider Plateau Venting technology to mechanically target cool air at the voice coil while at the same time removing warm air resulting in greater subwoofer reliability and performance.

55 series subwoofers are available in 10", 12", and 15" models and are available with either dual 4Ω or dual 2Ω voice coils giving you excellent options for wiring your system.
