BP Brake Fluid DOT 3 is a heavy-duty, high boiling point, synthetic brake and clutch fluid. It is a non-mineral oil based fluid designed to give safe and efficient operation in all hydraulically operated disc and drum braking systems and clutches of cars and commercial vehicles except when a mineral oil based fluid is specified. A high boiling point guards against any loss of vital performance at the elevated temperatures experienced in modern disc braking systems.
