S89F is a low steel compound, developed for racing and rally. It is specifically made to be used as a rear compound for front wheel drive cars with a "light" rear setup to eliminate problems with lock-up. It can also be used for both front and rear applications in light open-wheel single seater racing classes like for example Formula Ford. The S89F compound is easy to modulate with smooth delivery of brake power.
