This pad was developed to improve and increase cornering speed. This pad allows "late braking" to increase corner speed. CC-R uses a new, special blend of ceramic carbon metal materials which has contributed in increased controllability. The CC-R is also a ceramic-carbon-metallic compound developed for the same purposes as the MX72. The difference is that it can withstand even higher disc temperatures and has excellent modulation. Another point is that the working temperature starts at ambient temperatures, and the compound still has a very good initial bite and brake power all over its operating range. The CC-R has all the other characteristics that the MX72 has and is the optimum choice for an all-round pad during demanding high speed driving. CC-R compound is not aggressive towards the discs.
