PWM (Pulse Width Modulator)

To modulate the original audio input signal with a triangulated signal wave which has a higher fixed frequency, resulting in a digital signal which contains both the input signal and a band of frequency components around the modulation frequency. 

LPF (Low Pass Filter)

To filter out high frequency pulses before resulting amplified output signal is sent to the subwoofer and/or speakers. 

Built-In Crossover 

To optimize efficiency and deliver the best possible sound quality with a smart crossover network (adjustable from 40 to 240Hz or lower, at -12dB/octave). It works like a gateway, routing the big bass signals and filtering out higher-frequency signals to that subwoofer. 

Variable Bass Boost

To allow more control over how music sounds through selectable bass boost at 0dB, 6dB or 12dB via the bass boost volume control.
