The Tomei Blow Off Valve is a strengthened valve with turbine protective function that also has the supercharging pressure relief removed. The blow off valve is not a atmospheric release type but a bypass type.For the serious enthusiast not wanting to worry about noise, fuel deviations, and engine stalls of vent-to-atmosphere BOVs. The Tomei BOV allows for quick boost response and greatly increases the life of the turbocharger. When properly installed, holds up to 1.4 bar! Please note, the 191186 for VII-IX has a metal body. Also has a resistance to boost pressure which exceeds the resin and can correspond with the use of a higher boost.
