MTX Audio has rolled out a new series of amplifiers for 2011. The new Road Thunder series will be available in 5 different models ranging from class D mono-block to 4-channel full range amplifiers. The brushed aluminum finish will go great with any vehicle, giving it a nice professional look. The Road Thunder RT500D is perfect for those looking for just the right amount of power. Rated at 250 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, this amplifier will allow for a multiple combination of subwoofer wiring. Anywhere from two Dual Voice Coil 2 ohm subs to a Single Voice Coil 4 ohm sub. The class D Mono Block amplifier will encompass MTX's patented, Adaptive Clas D topology and Smart Engage circuitry, technologies. Smart Engage circuitry will make installation into an aftermarket or stock audio system a breeze without the need of any additional adapters or converters.
