Mobil Super 2000 is designed to provide protection in higher mileage vehicles with over 120,000 kilometres and guaranteed oil drain intervals of 10,000 kilometres or 6 months, whichever comes first. This excludes severe service applications involving: racing and commercial use, frequent towing or hauling, extremely dusty or dirty conditions, or excessive idling.

Mobil Super 2000 is formulated from a combination of synthetic and conventional quality base stocks combined with modern performance additives, including an advanced cleaning additive system to provide excellent engine cleanliness, protection for higher mileage vehicles. These oils help protect against sludge, piston deposits, engine rust and corrosion under severe and low temperature operating conditions. Mobil Super 2000 contains friction-reducing additives.
