Originally developed for car installations, the main focus of the Special Interconnect series was defence against noisy conditions. As a result of the unique symmetrical construction, the cables are stable against vibrating effects from 1 to 5000 Hertz as well as acoustic noises from 50 to 10000 Hertz under a maximum of 160 dB sound pressure. Based on that great stability against external effects, the cable is ideal for home theatre systems and medium sized home audio systems. The Special Interconnect Cables are available on spools (Special IC) and in RCA terminated lengths for analogue audio (Special IC RCA).

Analog symmetric interconnect. Twisted BRC multistranded conductors, each insulated by Combined Air Foamed (CAF) PE.

Binding: double layer CAF PE.
Shielding: BRC braid >90%. Jacket: double layer antistatic SPVC.

The terminated version of Special IC comes with high quality RCA connector (black/red) which are hand assembled using custom made Tchernov SFS/AG solder.
