My car has been gripping the roads like its life depends on it (actually it does
) in dry conditions and it impressed me. The wet grip is not so impressive, but I can still brake in wet conditions with no worries. The handling is great, and so is the comfort levels of this tyre. The tyre is a bit too noisy for me, and the treadlife is a bit short. Overall it's a good tyre
What I like
Great dry grip. Good wet grip. Excellent ride comfort and handling
What I do not like
Noisy. Short treadlife
My current tyre mainly because it lasts very long | Posted on 26 Jun 2013 |

Although the grip on my Goodyear is slightly better, I still choose this one over that because I have already clocked about twenty three k km on this set and its just below half wear. The grip is still good thought, I have never skidded while ebraking in heavy rain and turning with this tyre is very stable. However, its a bit noisy, but turn the music louder and problem solved.
Very noisy, but it lasts long | Posted on 24 Jun 2013 |

After installing these tyres, the 1st thing I noticed when driving out from the workshop is just how noisy these are. The old Goodyears were a lot quieter, but then I noticed that the stopping distance and grip on this yoko is better than the Goodyear. I didn't get the chance to test out how good the grip is on wet roads before the missus took back the car, but according to her, she loves how grippy it feels on wet roads, but she doesn't like how noisy it is. Also, she says the ride isn't as comfortable as before. However, the tyre life seems to be quite long as my wife has already clocked about 13k km on these tyres, and they're about halfway worn down.
What I like
Dry grip and stopping distance is great, looks like it will last long
What I do not like
Noisy and not very comfortable
Can track with these tires but be prepared to replace them immediately after | Posted on 13 Jun 2013 |

My racing kakis have been recommending this yoko tire to me so I tried it out. When I ran with these on track, my car gripped the roads like its life depends on it (actually it does
) in dry conditions and it impressed me. The wet grip is not so impressive, but I can still brake and even corner fast in wet conditions with no worries. The handling is great, and so is the comfort levels of this tyre. The tyre is a bit too noisy for me, and the treadlife is a bit short. Just my 2 cents.
What I like
Dry grip is like glue on the roads, wet grip is still good. Comfortable and handles well, very little hydroplaning
What I do not like
Doesn't last long, expect to change tires after a day at the track, or after about 20,000 km. Also quite noisy
Review
These tyres had received bad reviews from most Western sites, mainly for its bad performance when the tyres are cold. Fear not though, I've tried these tyres here, and I must say, they are value for money. We do not experience really cold starts, but there is a noticeable shaking of the tyres when driving out to work in the morning, but after a distance, these are settled for by the warm roads we have. Very quiet, smooth ride. Corners very well with minimal rolling. It grips really well on dry tarmac, and quite good on wet.
What I like
Value for money - gets most of what a typical normal tyre should do, done.
What I do not like
Do not ever bring this to track, these are neither performance nor off-road tyres.
