Review
My personal experience with Apollo tyres has always been quite good, and the Amazer XL is no different. The dry and wet performance is good, and the tyre wear is even and lasts long. However, when the tyre starts to wear out, it can get noisy and the ride comfort drops noticeably. But the price is so low that replacing the tyres when they get worn won't break the bank.
I installed this on
Subaru Impreza
Review
These Apollo Amazer XL tyres has a reinforced tyre construction in which I noticed a significantly longer treadlife compared to all the other tyres which has sustantially good treadlife. This tyres also has a visual alignment indicator for detecting any misalignment wear in the tyre, and especially designed for low noise. Grip wise, they're quite good on the dry, and surprisingly, they have better grip on the wet! Due to the tread pattern it has, I have never experienced aquaplaning while going over huge puddles of water. The best part of this tyres? They're really cheap!
What I like
These cheap tyres have reasonably good performance, grip and treadlife-wise.
What I do not like
Noticed after driving a long time, they produce a squeky noise.
