Automobili Lamborghini presents the Lamborghini Centenario at Geneva Motor Show, in the year the company celebrates the centenary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth.
The Centenario is the truest expression of Lamborghini's commitment to new and inspirational design, and continues the company's one-off strategy, demonstrating innovative design and engineering competencies. Its futuristic, pure and essential design encompases technological innovations.
Using the V12 architecture, the Centenario's naturally aspirated engine produces 770bhp and powers from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of more than 350km/h. The body of the Centenario is built entirely in carbon fibre, with a monocoque and all other body parts and trims in carbon fibre. This means the whole car weighs in at just 1,520kg. The car's aerodynamic design includes an extending rear wing providing more downforce at high speeds. The introduction of rear-wheel steering provides increased agility and stability, and an innovative touchscreen provides connected infotainment, including internet browsing and Apple CarPlay.
20 coupes and 20 roadsters of the one-off limited edition Lamborghini Centenario will be made, and you cannot actually buy one, because all of them have been sold. But you can check out the video above for the look at Lamborghini's latest extreme creation.
