Mercedes-Benz hits 25,000 electric van milestone

Mercedes-Benz Vans has announced that it has sold 25,000 electric vans to date.
The firm's electric van portfolio currently includes the vehicles such as the EQV, eVito and eVito Tourer, as well as the larger eSprinter. The lineup is set to be supplemented by new all-electric small vans including the eCitan, and EQT come 2022.
A new generation eSprinter is also currently undergoing final development tests, with production scheduled to begin in South Carolina, U.S.A in the second half of 2023 as well as in Dusseldorf and Ludwigsfelde, Germany for the European market.
