The name OPTIAN is derived from the words Optimal and Optic, which is generally define the Best Vision. OPTIAN is also PLK's corporate philosophy to become the eyes of vehicles for the Optimal Driving Safety.

OPTIAN is the new-concept product which combines ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) with the Full HD-2-channel Car DVR. It has extended the functionality of existing Car-DVR so that it can prevent any potential accidents caused by lane departure or forward collision.



Forward Collision Warning (FCW)



OPTIAN calculates the expected time to collision through the relative speed and the distance between a driver's vehicle and a front vehicle. When a risk of forward collision occurs, OPTIAN generates warning signal.


Lane Departure Warning (LDW)



OPTIAN keeps watching right/left lines of a driver's lane to detect lane departure. When a risk of lane departure occurs, OPTIAN generates warning signal.


Beep & Watch



While the traffic flow stops, OPTIAN keeps watching the front vehicle to detect resuming of traffic flow and give informing signal to driver.


Video Event Data Recorder (VEDR)



The Full HD, 2 Channel VEDR with the highest specification can record events of accidents or outside impacts.
