Thinkware launches its very own dual save technology that saves video files within its own internal memory as well as the external memory which is the micro SD card.




The Dual SAVE technology is specially designed to save recorded footages in both the Micro SD card and the built-in internal memory in incident recording, safeguarding against the loss of data in the aftermath of a severe collision. In the event that the MEMORY CARD is damaged, the Dual Save Technology guarantees a backup copy of the video in the internal memory.

* The Dual Save Technology is activated when a certain level of impact is detected. (Impact sensitivity is adjustable using the PC / Mac Viewer.)




GPS Logger (Optional Add on)

With GPS, THINKWARE DASH CAM X150 records how fast and where your car is driven and locates its position on the map. Motion Detection / Loop Video Recording / Accelerometer G-Sensor

The motion detection feature benefits stationary recording as it only records upon detection of motion. This key feature aids in saving memory spaces in the SD Card. Rest assured, images and video quality will never be compromised. Aids in recording acts of vandalism as well as hit and run cases. In addition, with the loop video recording feature, the earliest recorded video files will be automatically overwritten. Various Autonomous Recording Modes

The X150 supports various recording modes that you can use according to your needs: Continuous Recording, Incident Recording, Motion Detection Recording, and Manual Recording.

 Continuous Recording Mode

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.


Incident Recording Mode

The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the ten seconds prior and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.


Parking Surveillance Mode

The X150 can support a parking surveillance mode that monitors your vehicle when the ignition is off. A combination of motion detection and impact monitoring is used to protect your car from hit-and-run incidents.

* This feature is only available when installed using the optional hardwiring cable. Professional installation is highly recommended.


Manual Recording

Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occurs in front of you even if your vehicle is not involved. You can also use this feature to capture special moments, such as a falling meteor or a herd of bison crossing the road.
