The SecurityPlusCS-883.OEM is an "add-on" alarm system for a factory keyless entry system. This system is unique in the way that it uses your factory key fob to arm and disarm itself. Like all of our security systems it includes door, trunk and hood trigger inputs, dual-stage shock sensor, on-board parking lamp relay, horn honk output, plus a built-in starter kill relay for added security.

The CS-883.OEM uses the vehicle's door lock motor wires to arm/disarm itself so that when the factory keyless entry remote is pressed, the door lock motors will be activated and therefore activate the alarm. The system also uses the door lock switch wires as validation triggers so that if the user were to press lock or unlock from the door switch the unit will know that it is the door switch being pressed and not the key fob and therefore will not arm itself. The system also has a trunk release inhibit wire which is used to prevent false alarms when the trunk is opened using the factory key fob. 

The system is the perfect setup for users who want the protection of an aftermarket alarm system but want to keep the look and convenience of their factory key fob.
