The Black Clair made by iNavi, a leader in portable navigation systems for the South Korean market, is a Black Box installed to your vehicle's windshield to capture both audio and videos of actual events or accidents. Similar to the recording devices used on aircraft, the Black Clair provides continuous day and night, digital recording to a secure MicroSDHC card. The built in G-force sensor monitors acceleration, braking and sharp turns, triggering the camera to record, so you will never loose any important events while driving. Accidents will be automatically saved (before and after) so they cannot be overwritten. The driver can also select events to save for future reviews. Simply power the Black Clair with the cigarette lighter adapter or the battery, and the unit will automatically begin recording when you start the engine or in "Parking Mode".

The iNavi Black Clair features a CMOS camera lens of 2.0 megapixels - the highest image sensors in the equivalent category - and a high definition resolution (1280x720, 30 fps) for a sharper image during day, night and even in bad weather.

When a pre-determined amount of G-force is met (such as acceleration, braking and turn forces), the Black Clair automatically activates recording, putting the latest image to memory (10 seconds prior to impact and 10 seconds after the impact).

Parking Surveillance Mode
The Black Clair also has a unique "Parking mode" which detects an impact or motion when your car is parked and then triggers a pre-event recording for 30 seconds before and after the event.

12-volt/24-volt Compatible
Dual voltage compatibility for both 12-volt and 24-volt means the Black Clair can be installed in passenger cars/trucks and heavy-duty commercial vehicles without modification. The built-in battery will provide recording even if the vehicle is powered off.

AVI Movie Format
Easily convert to AVI format for viewing in standard media players (data remains overlaid on the AVI video image).

Monitor Output
The video output can provide instant playback to investigating officers using any monitor with video input, such as in-car video or GPS screens or laptop computers.
