Rainbows new DL Series (Dreamline) is the sequel to the last years of the most popular series of Rainbow SLX speakers.And it obliges!
Rainbows DL series is set in a price range where most people can participate and how competitive the market is huge. Rainbow fails yet again to make a series of speakers where the sound is the absolute paramount and where competitors can only look on open-mouthed.
The sound is clear and clean and still with plenty of cash and tight bass without it being too much. The 20 mm silkediskanter really comes into its own and creates a balanced sound that you can (and should) listen to for hours. The chassis is of course the EU standard and with mounting holes to fit in most of the Danish fleet, saving you from having to cut into the car's clothing.In typical Rainbow-style, so you get as always also a speaker that does not look like much: no chrome, no special colors or gimmicks, just Rainbow sound and lots of it. As Rainbow says: speakers to play music and not shown.
Support arm in butyl rubber, 25mm voice coil and diaphragm and centerdome in natural fiber ensures dry and fast bass. Includes 20 mm tweeters with membranes of woven silk, which ensures you the most pleasant treble without the shrill. Tweeter low installation depth and diameter also makes it perfect to replace the car's speakers.
The crossover (12dB/oktav) are built with the right quality components and it is possible to adjust the treble level in three levels.
