A straight center rib enhances driving stability at high speeds and provides excellent steering response. When the going gets wet, directional wide grooves as well as lateral grooves provide drainage and superior hydroplaning resistance at high speeds.

An awesome set of cheap tyres.  
Tried this tyre previously when I replace my precedent worn out tyres on my ride. Not as good looking as its brother Nexen N3000, which was quite a bummer for me. The side wall looks a bit mundane, but once bedded in, they don't look too bad! Good grip in dry and have performed well in the recent wet weather.
