The first Cooper 4x4 tyre to be developed outside of the USA, the 4XS has been designed specifically to meet the demands of European 4x4 vehicles on European roads. 

The 4XS, which will include fitments for Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg, BMW X5, Audi Q7, Volvo XC90 and Mercedes M-Class, will be available to buy in the UK and mainland Europe from October.

Building on Cooper Tire’s well-established reputation in the US 4x4 market, designers in the Company’s Wiltshire-based European Technology Centre also utilised the company’s proven high performance car tyre technology to ensure that the 4XS tread pattern offers comfortable, quiet running.

• Rim Protection: Extends beyond the rim flange protecting against rim damage when a wheel scuffs a kerb. Asymmetrical 'Rib' Tread Design: Offers three distinct performance attributes; open inner shoulder designed to enhance wet grip, wide circumferential grooves in the centre help resist aquaplaning and solid outer shoulder optimise dry handling.
