Review TyreShield is really an innovative, out-of-the-box technology that would definitely benefit drivers - it did benefit me at least. I believe in 'prevention is better than cure', and I'm sure other drivers out there would believe in the same direction. Having your tyres punctured isn't a hassle-free matter. It's just similar to an engine breakdown, you'll be pulling over by the roadside waiting for the towtruck and wasting your time and money. I've had my tyres punctured last week when I was on the way to my relative's place in Selangor, but luckily I had this TyreShield Kit installed into my tyres. Only upon arriving at my relative's place did I notice my rear tyres were punctured with 3 screws total. TyreShield had sealed up the porous leaks, preventing air from going out of my tyres and thus I could continue driving. If I had not installed the TyreShield, I might just be stranded by the NS highway waiting hours for the towtruck...
What I like Really effective, efficient and practical.
What I do not like Requires regular maintenance and checking.
Review "TyreShield prevents tyres from running flat when encountered with a puncture - and works without the hassle of applying a repair kit." Yes, it works just as it claims. You will never know whats on the road when you drive! Especially nails and broken glasses.
I got this not too long ago, had it fixed in my tyres and took it for a drive. It works perfectly. My drive was so much smoother, I feel. I was told that it doesn't only seal punctured holes while driving but also extends tyre life. This, everyone needs.
What I like 1 ) jack up wheel
2) remove tyre valve (tool provided)
3) insert TyreShield through open valve into tyre
4) put back tyre valve with same tool
5) inflate tyre
Thats all ! Its so easy to use.
What I do not like Not many dealers are selling this. Hence, making it inconvenient to find its availability.
Review After spending quite a fair bit on tyres, I feel that is justifiable for me to get this tyre shield as protection. Most of the driving in Singapore is of smooth surface driving, however for my case, I will need to go to site where the road is rough contains many sharp rocks and nails. Seems stressing to my tyres.
Apply the tyre shield during perk period where I often need to travel to sites. After about 18,000 kms, the sets of tyres seems to be well maintained with any punctures tyres. A good record for me as my norm is to have 1 or 2 tyres punctured at about 10,000 km. Kurdos to Tyre Shield.
What I like Serve as an additional protection to our tyre investment
What I do not like Need to reapply for better effect every few months.
I installed this on
Toyota Camry
